Eduation
It is vital that we educate the community about various issues the environment, the Salish Sea and the endangered Southern Resident Orcas face. Once people are aware, then they can feel empowered to take action. Only then can we create a more sustainable future.
Preserving PNW goes about education and outreach in several ways. Through mentorship programs with younger students, through tabling and public speaking events, webinars, and by using our voice to speak up on social media, and through our news letter.
Online Programs
We strive to raise awareness across networks by posting on social media, and updating our newsletter and blog.
Additionally, we have an online group, to connect youth across the Pacific Northwest who are passionate about helping the environment. Through our online program we host webinars, and we have done a radio show. We hope to build a connection and meaningful change, even virtually!
